Sunderwas Main Road is where you’ll find us, specifically in the 1st Mehta Market. It’s a lively spot to have a shop. We handle both paints and hardware, so there is always a mix of different people coming through. One person wants a very specific shade of blue for a bedroom and the next guy needs a set of wrenches. It keeps me on my toes. Mehta Market has its own energy, especially on weekends when everyone decides to start their home projects at the same time. The shelves are packed tight with everything from tiny screws to five-liter paint tubs. I usually have to use a long stick to reach some of the stuff near the ceiling. It’s a bit of a maze back there. I don't have a computer system for everything; I mostly rely on knowing where I put things last. The floor is concrete and has plenty of stains from accidental spills over the years. It gives the place some character, I think. I spend a lot of time talking to regular contractors who stop by for their daily supplies. We don't do much in the way of advertising. People just know we are here in the first market. I open up when the sun is still low and usually don't head home until the streetlights are well and truly on.
