Out here in Badgaon, things move a little differently than in the main city center. I set up my workspace here because it’s where I live and know people. My name is on the door, and that’s about it. Most of my day is spent with a pencil in my hand or looking at a screen, trying to figure out how to make a piece of land work for a new house. The room is usually a bit of a mess with site maps and old sketches scattered around. I don't have a team of secretaries or a fancy waiting room. If you come by, you’ll probably find me leaning over a drafting table. Sometimes the power goes out, and I just have to wait or work by the window light. Badgaon is growing fast, so there’s always someone asking about new construction or how to fix up an old place. I try to keep things simple and honest. I’ve seen the area change over the years, from empty fields to all these new buildings. My tools are basic, mostly just what I need to get the lines straight and the math correct. It’s a quiet life of work, mostly focusing on the small details that other people might miss. I don't use big words or fancy talk, just tell people what can be done. It is just me here most of the time, working through the pile of drawings.
