Our place, Karnawat International Pvt. Ltd., is located right on Nh-8 in Village Piparda. We’re across from Kalpana Kunj and the General Hospital in the Kishore Nagar area. Being on the national highway means there’s always trucks and cars zooming by. It’s a dusty spot, but that’s the way it is out here. We deal with international trade, which sounds a lot more glamorous than it actually is. Most of the day is spent on the phone or dealing with paperwork for customs and shipping. We have a small office and a yard for the goods. It’s not a polished corporate environment. It’s more of a practical, working space. We’ve been here in Piparda for a long time. The locals know us, and we know them. Sometimes the electricity goes out or the internet is slow, but we just work around it. We don't use a lot of fancy business talk. We just try to get things moved from point A to point B without too much trouble. It can be stressful when a shipment is delayed, but we just do our best to fix it. People stop by because we're easy to find on the highway. We’re just a regular company trying to keep things moving. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on. We don't have a big mission or anything, we just show up and do the work every day until it's time to head home.
