Hindustan Zinc Ltd. Cittorgarh (Raj.)

It might seem a bit odd to find an office for a Chittorgarh operation all the way up here in Noida, but that is where we are. We are in Kendriya Vihar, Sector-82, at C1-10. It is a residential complex, so it is much quieter than a typical industrial zone. We handle the liaison work and some of the administrative stuff that needs to be done closer to the capital. The office is basically a converted space, so it feels a lot like a home. We do not have a big reception desk or a security guard at the front door. It is just us and our computers. We spend a lot of time coordinating between the Rajasthan sites and the offices here. It is a lot of emails and phone calls. Sometimes the humidity in Noida gets to us in the monsoon, but the air conditioning usually holds up well. We are not into big marketing slogans or anything corporate. We are just a small team trying to keep the communication lines open. People drop by occasionally for documents, and we always have the kettle ready for a cup of tea. It is a low-key environment. We do not try to act like a giant corporation even though we are part of one. We just do our bit and keep the files organized. It is a steady pace of work most weeks.
