You can find us at 32 Picholi, right near Rangniwas in the city of Udaipur. It is a pretty well-known part of town, so we get a lot of people passing by the front door. Being part of the larger Vedanta group means there is always something going on, but at this specific office, it feels a bit more personal. We deal with the zinc side of the business. The building has been here for a long time, and it has got that old Udaipur character to it. It is not some modern glass skyscraper. We have our daily routines, like the morning chai and checking the logs. Most of the staff has been working here for years, so we are more like a small family than just coworkers. We do not use a lot of big words or fancy talk when we are working. If there is a problem with an order or a file, we just sit down and fix it. The traffic around Rangniwas can be a bit much during the tourist season, but we have learned all the shortcuts around the neighborhood. We handle the local coordination and keep things ticking over for the company. It is a lot of manual entries and keeping track of the supplies in the back. We are not trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just want to do the job right and go home to our families at night.
