Our spot is tucked away in the New Scheme part of Gostatala, over in Garia. If you are familiar with Kolkata, you know how busy it can get around Kol-84. We’re at C/42, which isn't hard to find if you’re looking for Hindustan Zinc Limited in this neck of the woods. It’s a busy neighborhood, always something happening outside the door. We aren’t a big, cold corporate office. It’s mostly just us here handling the local operations and making sure things stay on track. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re more concerned with the work than the decor. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans pinned up. We just show up, do what needs to be done, and head home like everyone else. The humidity in Garia can be a lot in the summers, so we keep the fans going and stay busy. It feels more like a community here than a strictly business zone. You see the same neighbors every day. We’ve been at this location for a while now, and it’s become home base for us. No big mystery to what we do, just a practical place to run things from. We try to keep things straightforward and don't see the point in using big words to describe a simple job. We’re just part of the local landscape in Gostatala.
