Chunda Palace

We are located at 1 Haridas Ji Ki Magri, right on the main road in Udaipur. Chunda Palace isn't your average building. It’s got a lot of hand-painted walls and traditional carvings that took a long time to finish. We are just a local team that looks after the place. It’s not some big international hotel group. We take pride in the way the building looks because it reflects the history of our city. Being in Udaipur, we are surrounded by lakes and hills, and from our spot, you can see quite a bit of it. We spend our days making sure the rooms are tidy and the rooftop stays a nice place for people to sit. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the stairs and different levels, but that’s part of the charm. We don't really do the whole polished corporate speech thing. We just tell people where the best views are and make sure they get a good meal. The traffic on the main road can be a bit noisy during the day, but once you step inside, the thick walls keep it pretty quiet. It feels more like a big home than a hotel sometimes. We’ve got a lot of local guys working here who know the city inside out. We just do our work and hope people enjoy the atmosphere we’ve put together.
