H L Marbles

H L Marbles is sitting over at Udaipole Agrasen Nagar, number 25. Being in this part of town means things can get pretty crowded with traffic and people moving about. We have a decent amount of space where we keep our marble stock, mostly stacked up so we can show people what the different slabs look like when they are polished or just raw. It is a bit of a workout moving these things around, but we do it every day so we are used to the weight. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon, making the stone feel warm to the touch. We don't have any big marketing team or anything like that, just us making sure the orders are ready and the stone is cut right. Most of the time, we are just busy loading and unloading or talking to customers who live nearby in the city. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but our little corner remains pretty much the same. We like the fact that people can just stop by while they are out doing their other errands in Udaipole. There is always a layer of fine white dust on our shoes and the desks, but that is part of the trade when you deal with marbles. We just focus on getting the work done every day.
