Gujrat Ice Cream

We are located over on Jain Mandri Road in the Surajpole area. Being near the temple means we see a lot of people coming and going, especially on certain days of the week. Our shop, Gujrat Ice Cream, is a small place. We’ve got the freezers humming in the background all day. It’s a good sound because it means everything is staying cold. We mostly serve families who are out for a walk or kids who just finished school. We don't have any fancy seating, just a few stools and the space outside on the sidewalk. Making ice cream is what we know. We aren't trying to be some big brand. We just make the flavors that people like and keep the prices fair. The street can get a bit dusty, so we are always wiping down the counters. It’s a lot of work keeping things clean and tidy. Sometimes the power goes out, and that’s a real headache, but we manage. People around here are friendly. We chat about the weather or the local news while we scoop. It’s a steady life. We open up in the late morning and stay open until the night gets cool. There’s something nice about seeing a kid get excited over a cone. It makes the long hours worth it. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and don't plan on going anywhere.
