Gujrat Hospital

Being right on Tehsil Road by the Jawas bus stand means we hear the buses pulling in all day long. It is a bit noisy sometimes, especially in Kherwara when the market is in full swing. People coming from different parts of Udaipur district often stop here because we are so close to where the buses drop everyone off. The hospital has been part of this street for quite a while. We have a few beds and the doctors are usually around. It’s not a shiny new building, but it stays clean enough. We spend a lot of time talking to patients who are just passing through or local folks from the nearby villages. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we make do with what we have. The staff mostly lives nearby, so we all know each other well. We don't have a big fancy lobby, just some benches where people wait their turn. We handle all sorts of things, from fevers to small injuries. It’s a practical place for people who don’t want to travel all the way into the main city for every little thing. The bus drivers sometimes pop in for a quick check too. It’s just how things go here on Tehsil Road. We keep the doors open and do the work that needs doing.
