Grah Nikhar

Grah Nikhar is on the first floor at 184 Bapu Bazaar. It’s a very busy part of town, especially because we are right opposite the Allahabad Bank at the Bank Tiraha. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets with shoppers and traffic constantly moving through the intersection. You have to walk up the stairs to find us since we aren't at street level. It’s a bit quieter once you get inside, but you can still hear the horns honking down below. We deal with things for the home, and the space is usually filled with different items we are sorting through. It’s not a perfectly laid-out showroom like you might see in a mall. Things are stacked where they fit, and we know where everything is even if it looks a bit cluttered to someone else. Being near the bank means there are always people around, which is good for us. We've seen the bazaar change over the years, but it stays pretty much the same at heart. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the stock well. We don't go in for big sales pitches or anything like that. We just talk to people like regular neighbors. It’s a simple way of doing things, and it has worked for us so far in this busy corner of the market. Sometimes the stairs are a bit of a climb, but we are used to it.
