Our base is in Kejad, which is a village in the Sarara Tehsil of Udaipur district. It’s quite a way out from the main city of Udaipur, nestled in the Rajasthan landscape. Yashwant, the son of Gebilal Jain, runs things from here. It’s a very different environment compared to the big city offices. Out here in the village, life moves a bit slower, but the work we do at Gr Infraprojects keeps us plenty busy. We don't have a paved parking lot or a fancy reception area. Our office is just a part of the local community where we live and work. We deal with a lot of regional projects and the paperwork that comes with them. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, but we’re used to that. We just sit around the table and figure things out. People in the village know us, so they just stop by the house or the office spot if they need to talk. It’s a very direct way of doing business. We handle a lot of the planning and management for regional developments from this small desk in Kejad. Rajasthan is beautiful but the sun can be harsh, so we get most of our heavy thinking done early in the morning. It’s an honest way to make a living, staying close to our roots while working on bigger things for the district.
