Goverdhan Dugdh Dairy

We are located on Tehsil Road in Mavli Junction. Goverdhan Dugdh Dairy is where we spend our early hours every single day. Before the sun is even up, we are already here handling the milk deliveries. The smell of fresh milk and curd is just part of our lives now. We get our supply from the local farmers around the area and make sure it gets to the people in the village and the town. It’s wet work, with a lot of cleaning cans and floors to keep things right. We don't have a big fancy shop, just a counter and the cooling units in the back. People come by with their own stainless steel containers to get their daily liter or two. We also make some paneer and mawa when there’s extra milk. It’s a routine that doesn't change much whether it's summer or winter. Sometimes the milk trucks are late because of the fog or a breakdown, and we just have to wait it out. Our customers are mostly regulars who have been coming to us for years. They know the quality is steady. We don't do much talking, just filling up the jugs and checking the fat content. It’s hard work on the legs, standing all day, but it’s what our family has done for a long time. Mavli Junction is a busy place, and we are glad to be a small part of it.
