Gemini Ayurvedic Store

The store is over on Surajpole Garden Road, which is a nice enough spot with a bit of green nearby. Gemini Ayurvedic Store is not very large, but we manage to fit a lot into the space we have. There are stacks of boxes everywhere and bags of raw herbs waiting to be processed. I try to keep things organized, but on busy days, the counter gets covered in glass bottles and paper bags. The road outside can get a bit congested during the afternoon rush. Most of my day is spent talking to people who walk in looking for something specific they have used for years. I grew up learning about these plants and roots, so it feels natural to be surrounded by them now. The air in here is thick with the scent of sandalwood and bitter herbs. It is a smell you get used to after a while, but visitors always notice it right away. I do not have a fancy billing system, just a pen and a pad of paper. My desk is tucked in the back corner where I can keep an eye on the entrance. There is a small window that lets in a bit of sunlight, which helps because the overhead lights are a bit dim. It is a plain shop, nothing special to look at from the outside, but it has got everything needed. We have been at 6 Surajpole for a while.
