Our office is right near the Ayad Thokar Choraha on Ayad Road. If you are familiar with the area, you know that the crossroads there are always busy with traffic and people moving between different parts of the city. It is a very loud and active place to be. We are basically right on the main road, so we get a lot of dust and noise coming in through the front. The building is a simple one, and we occupy a space that’s mostly just open desks and some shelving for our materials. Being in the education sector, we see a lot of people coming in and out, mostly asking for directions or checking on schedules. It is a very functional space. We don't have any fancy art on the walls or a lounge for visitors. There are just some chairs and a table where we can sit down and talk. The heat in the summer can be pretty intense, so we have the coolers running full blast most of the time. We usually grab tea from the vendor across the street twice a day. It is a very basic operation. We are just here to help out and handle the administrative side of things. Most of our day is spent answering questions and sorting through files. It is a busy, unpretentious place where we just try to stay on top of the daily grind.
