Fag Bearings

Our shop is over at Door No.36/42 in the Growth Center in Shakti Nagra. It’s an industrial area, so it’s mostly warehouses and workshops like ours. We deal with bearings, which means there is always oil on the floor and that specific smell of grease and metal in the air. It’s a small space, mostly filled with shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. Each shelf is packed with boxes of different sizes. I spend a lot of time looking through those boxes to find the exact part someone is asking for. My hands are almost always stained black from handling the parts, even if they are still in the wrappers. The Growth Center is a loud place, with machines running next door and trucks constantly backing up in the alleyways. We don't have a fancy showroom or anywhere nice for people to sit. If you come by, you’ll probably just stand at the counter while I look for your part. It gets pretty hot in here during the summer because the metal roof soaks up all the heat. We have a small fan, but it mostly just moves the warm air around. People who work in Shakti Nagra know where we are, and we mostly get customers who are looking for a replacement part for a machine that broke down. We just find the right bearing, swap the money, and that's the end of it.
