We are located over at 383 Bhupalpura, right on J 1 Road. It’s a fairly quiet spot compared to the main market areas, which is nice for the kind of work we do. We deal with geology and mining consultancy, which sounds a bit complicated but mostly involves looking at rocks and maps all day. There are three or four of us who share the space here. We have shelves full of rock samples and old maps that are starting to turn yellow at the edges. It’s not a fancy office with glass walls or anything. It’s just a place where we sit down and try to figure out what’s under the ground. We spend a lot of time traveling to different sites too. You can’t really understand the earth by just sitting at a desk in Bhupalpura. Sometimes we come back covered in dust and tired, but it’s part of the job. We’ve been doing this for a good while now. We don't have a big sign out front or anything. Most people who need us already know where we are. We just take it one project at a time. It’s interesting work if you like that sort of thing. We usually have some snacks on the table and the windows open to let in a bit of air. It’s a simple life, and we like the independence of it.
