Doctor Hemant Mahaur

My clinic is situated at D-6 on the hospital campus in Udaipur. Being right near the Girls Hostel and the Maharana Bhupal Chikitsalay makes it a very central spot for anyone already in the area. It’s a practical location because people are always coming and going from the main hospital nearby. The building itself is part of the older campus structure, so it has that specific look and feel of a government-adjacent facility. There is always some kind of activity happening outside, with students walking by or ambulances moving around the campus. I spend most of my day inside these walls seeing patients who need a consultation or some medical advice. The room is quite simple with a desk, some chairs, and the usual medical tools. It’s not the kind of place with leather sofas or fancy lighting. We just focus on the medical side of things. People from all over Udaipur-Rajasthan come by, often because they were referred or just happened to be at the Chikitsalay for other work. The walk from the main gate can be a bit long when it’s hot outside, but most people find their way here eventually. It’s a busy environment and the days go by pretty fast when there is a line of people waiting. I’ve been in this specific spot for a while now and the routine is pretty much the same every week. We just try to keep things organized and see everyone who comes in through the clinic door.
