Devbharati Tribal Foundation

We operate Devbharati Tribal Foundation out of a village called Rishabhdeo. Specifically, we are at the place of Punji Lal Nai. It is a bit different from being in a big city office. Things move a little slower here, but that’s not a bad thing. We are right in the heart of the village post area. Most of the people around here know us by name, which makes things easier. We don't have a corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s more of a home-grown setup. We spend a lot of time talking to folks in the community. It’s basic work, really. We see what needs to be done and we try to find a way to do it with what we have. Sometimes the internet is a bit spotty, or the power goes out, but we just work around it. That’s just part of life in the village. We aren't here for any glory or to make a name for ourselves. We just live here and wanted to help out the tribal groups in our area. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We don't have fancy titles or complicated meetings. We just sit together, figure out the plan for the day, and get to it. It’s a simple life but it feels productive to be where we are. Every day brings a new challenge but we manage. We just do our best.
