Blue Mount Tours & Travels Pvt Ltd is our small travel business in Udaipur. We are situated at 26-B near the RSCT office, which is in the Udaipur Ho area close to Amba Mata. It is a nice part of town, though it can get really busy with all the tourists coming to see the lakes and palaces. We are not a massive agency with branches everywhere. It is just us in this one office, trying to keep things organized. We spend most of our time talking to drivers and making sure the cars are clean and ready for the next trip. The office has a few maps on the walls and plenty of chairs for people to sit while we figure out their routes. We do not use any complicated systems. Most of it is just handled through phone calls and simple paperwork. It gets a bit loud sometimes with the street noise coming in, but we are used to it by now. We have lived in Udaipur all our lives, so we know the roads better than any map would show. If someone wants to see something that is not in the usual guidebooks, we usually know how to get them there. We do not have a fancy sales pitch. We just tell people what we can do and what it will cost. It is a very practical way of doing business and it keeps us going in this beautiful city.
