Mewar Hospital

This hospital is located in Priyadarshani Nagar, and it’s a place that stays busy from the early morning until very late at night. When you walk through the doors, you notice the smell of floor cleaner and the sound of people talking in the hallways. It isn't like those big, shiny corporate hospitals you see in the movies; it feels more like a part of the neighborhood. The staff here are always on their feet, moving between the different rooms or checking on someone in the waiting area. We have benches that have seen better days and floors that have been walked on by thousands of people over the years. During the day, the light comes in through the front windows, and you can see the traffic moving outside in the street. It gets a bit quieter during the middle of the night, but there is always a light on somewhere and someone keeping watch. The doctors and nurses just go about their business, carrying files and talking to families who are waiting for news. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls, just the stuff we need to help the people who come through the door. Sometimes the fans overhead make a bit of noise, but nobody really minds because there is always something more important going on. It’s just a practical place where people come when they aren't feeling well, and we do what we can.
