Ashok Kirana

Ashok Kirana is located over in Malla Talai. It is a pretty straightforward setup we have here. We deal with the daily stuff people need for their houses. The shop is not huge, so we have to stack things pretty high on the shelves to make everything fit. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what someone is looking for, but we usually know where it is hidden away. Malla Talai is a good spot to be. We see the same faces almost every morning. Some of our customers have been coming here since they were kids and now they bring their own children along. It makes the day go by faster when you know the people walking through the door. We don't do anything special or have big sales events. We just open the shutters and start the day. The counter is a bit worn down from years of use. We have a small fan in the corner because it gets quite warm in the afternoons. If the delivery truck is late, we just wait. There is no point getting stressed about it. Ashok Kirana is just a part of the street here. We don't have a big office or anything like that. It's just the shop floor and a small back room for storage. We've been in Malla Talai for a long time and we plan to stay right where we are.
