Art World

You can find Art World at number 16 on Bajrang Marg, just off the Lake Pichola Road in the Chandpole area. It’s a beautiful part of the city to be in, especially with the water being so close by. Our shop is a bit traditional, fitting in with the old streets and the style of buildings around here. We spend our days at the shop, surrounded by whatever we happen to be selling or making at the time. It’s a small space, so we have to be careful about where we put things so people can walk. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped, but it’s home to us and we like it that way. The tourists and locals walk past all day, and we often stand at the door just watching the world go by for a few minutes. We don’t have a website or a big marketing team. It’s just the name Art World on the sign and us inside doing the work. We’ve been at this address on Bajrang Marg for quite a long time now. The walls are a bit old and the floor creaks in one corner when you step there, but we don't mind. It adds some character to the place. We start early when the air is still cool from the lake and close up once the sun goes down over the buildings. It’s a simple way to live.
