Sterlite Industries (India) Limited, Tuticorin

We are located at 26 Briyant Nagar 8th Street, specifically the East side, in Tuticorin. This part of Tamil Nadu is home for us. Sterlite Industries has a long history in this area. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s just a regular building on a regular street. Inside, it’s mostly just us working on the daily logistics and management for the company. Tuticorin is a port city, so there is always something happening. We feel like part of the neighborhood here on 8th Street. The weather gets quite hot, so we are thankful for the fans and the shade. We aren't here to impress anyone with big words or polished stories. We just do the work that needs doing. People in the area know us as the Sterlite office. We have a few rooms set up for different tasks. It’s a bit cramped sometimes when we have a lot of files, but we manage. The staff here mostly lives nearby. We talk about the local news and the weather while we work. It’s a down-to-earth environment. We don't use any fancy business talk. Just everyday English and everyday work. If you walk down Briyant Nagar, you’ll find us easily enough. We’ve been here long enough that we’re just part of the furniture now. It is a practical place for a practical job.
