Sri Sakthi Engineering

Sri Sakthi Engineering is based at 33, Subbiah Nadar Compound. We are right on the Doovi Puram Main Road in Thoothukudi. If you know the area, you know the main road is always packed with trucks and people going about their business. Our workshop is inside the compound, which gives us a little bit of space for all the heavy engineering work we do. It’s a noisy place, honestly. Between the machines running and the traffic outside, there’s always a lot of sound. But that’s just the nature of engineering. The compound has been around for a long time, and our spot at number 33 is pretty well-established. We have grease on our hands most of the time, and the floor is usually covered in metal shavings or tools. It’s a real working environment, not some polished office. Thoothukudi gets very hot, so the fans are always spinning at full speed to keep us from melting. We don't really have a front desk or anything fancy. If someone comes by, they usually just find us in the back working on a project. We’ve been here through the rainy seasons and the heatwaves, just doing the work that needs to be done. It’s a straightforward, honest living for us here. We just show up, do the engineering tasks, and head home when the sun goes down. It's tough work but someone has to do it.
