Selvam Hardwares

Selvam Hardwares is a small shop located at 1/169 on Panjalankurichi Road. We’ve been here in Otapidaram for a long time. It’s a quiet enough area most days, which suits us just fine. I started this place because I noticed people had to travel too far just to get basic tools or building supplies. Now, we keep a bit of everything on the shelves. It’s not the biggest store you’ll ever see, and the aisles are a bit narrow because we try to fit so much in. If you need a specific bolt or a particular tool, we can usually find it if you give us a minute to look through the back. The dust settles on the shelves pretty fast, so we’re always cleaning, but it’s a hardware store, so that’s expected. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. It’s that kind of town. We don't have a website or any of that, we just open the doors in the morning and see who stops by. Sometimes people just come in to escape the heat and talk for a bit. We enjoy being a part of the daily life on Panjalankurichi Road. It’s a simple business. We sell what people need for their homes and farms. There isn't much more to it than that. We just try to be helpful and stay stocked up on the basics.
