Reshmi Engineering

Reshmi Engineering is over at 4, 3rd Street in Soundarajan Nagar which is part of Kilkallai. It’s a bit of a quiet residential area that has a few small businesses like ours mixed in. Our workshop at number 4 is where we do all our engineering work. It is mostly full of metal-cutting machines and workbenches that are cluttered with various projects we are currently working on. The air usually smells a bit like machine oil and metal which is normal for a place like this. Soundarajan Nagar is a decent place to work and 3rd Street is wide enough for trucks to come and go without too much trouble. We spend our days grinding metal and making sure that the parts we produce are the right size according to what the customer asked for. It isn't a silent job and the neighbors are used to the hum of the machines during the day. We have a small area near the front for taking orders and talking to people who stop by with a broken part they need fixed. The floor is concrete and has plenty of scratches from moving heavy equipment around over the years. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or a reception desk because most of our time is spent in the back actually doing the work. It’s just a regular local engineering shop where we get things done without making a big deal out of it.
