Nataraj Electric

Our shop is at No 4 B in the Tuticorin Co-Operative Industrial Estate in Korampallam. It’s an industrial area, so it’s mostly warehouses and workshops around us. We handle electrical work and supplies. The place is basically a big garage filled with wires, switches, and tools. It’s dusty and noisy because of the other units nearby, but that’s just how it is here. We’ve been part of this estate for quite some time. Most of the people working here are locals from Tuticorin. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. If you need something fixed or a specific part, you just come by and ask. We spend most of our time out on jobs or helping people who walk in with broken stuff. It’s a practical business. There’s no air conditioning in the main work area, just a couple of ceiling fans that hum all day. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the work that needs finishing. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We just wear our regular clothes and get our hands dirty. The road into the estate can be a bit bumpy after the rain. We don't mind. It’s where we work and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the place. We just keep our heads down and do the electrical stuff we know how to do.
