We’ve been here at 12/147 on 5th Street in Tuticorin for a while now. Most days it’s pretty busy with all the freight moving through. You know how it is in a port town like this, there’s always something needing to be loaded or a bit of paperwork that’s gone missing under a pile of files. We just handle the everyday stuff that comes with Jn Freight Forwarders. It’s not always pretty, and the office gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up off the coast, but we get the job done. Sometimes people just walk in off the street asking where the docks are, and we point them the right way. We spend a lot of time on the phone, talking to drivers and making sure things are where they should be. It’s loud out there sometimes. The 5th street area has changed over the years, but we’re still in the same spot, drinking tea and looking at shipping manifests. It’s honest work, even if it feels like we’re constantly chasing a deadline or a truck that’s running late because of traffic. We don't have fancy furniture or anything. Just desks, computers, and a lot of coffee to keep us going through the afternoon slump. Most of the guys here have been around forever, so we know the routes pretty well by now. It’s just how we do things here in Tuticorin. We don’t mind the long hours much at all.
