Kalpanamal Charitable Foundation

You can find the Kalpanamal Charitable Foundation out on Ettayapuram Road. We are at 4/79A in Om Shanthi Nagar, which is part of Thoothukudi. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, but it is a good spot for what we do. The area is fairly quiet, which helps when we are trying to get work done without too many distractions. Our building is just a plain structure, nothing that stands out too much if you are just driving by in a car. We spend a lot of our time here just organizing things and talking to people who stop by for a chat. Thoothukudi can get quite hot, so we usually have the windows shut during the middle of the day to keep the sun out. It’s just a small team of us here. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or a lobby with a receptionist. Most of the time, you just walk in and one of us will look up from a desk and say hello. We’ve been at this address for a bit and have gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. The postman knows us well by now. We try to keep things honest and simple. There is always something to do, whether it’s answering the phone or sorting through mail. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that is just how it goes when you are busy. We like being in Om Shanthi Nagar.
