John Vasigaran

Down here in Tuticorin, things move at a bit of a different pace. We are located at 18C, Thiraviapuram, on 4th Street. It’s John Vasigaran’s place. The air always has a bit of salt in it because we are near the coast, and the sun can be really unforgiving in the afternoon. We don’t have a big staff or a fancy reception area. It’s just a regular building where we get our work done. We’ve been in this neighborhood for years, so everyone knows who we are. We might be sitting at the desk with a fan blowing directly on us just to stay cool. The work isn't anything we brag about, but it’s what keeps the lights on. We handle things as they come, whether it's paperwork or meeting local folks who need something done. Sometimes the street gets flooded when the heavy rains come, and we have to pick everything up off the floor. It’s just part of living and working in Tuticorin. We don't spend money on big signs or ads. Word of mouth usually does the job for us. People know where to find us on 4th Street if they need anything. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We just do the best we can with what we have here. If someone stops by, we usually have time for a quick chat about how the local fish market is doing. We don't really have a grand plan for the future, we just keep showing up every morning.
