About Fauna International – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Tuticorin
Fauna International operates out of 16/26, Jeyalani Colony. It is a relatively quiet part of the neighborhood compared to the market side. Our office is a simple place with white walls and a few maps pinned up. We have been here for a long time, so the neighbors all know us by now. We mostly deal with international trade stuff, which involves a lot of sitting in front of screens and making phone calls to people in different time zones. Sometimes the internet goes out when it rains heavily, and we end up just sitting around talking until it comes back on. We aren't a big company with fancy titles or a human resources department. It is just a few of us trying to keep things organized. The furniture is a bit mismatched because we bought it at different times over the last decade. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for when the afternoons get long. Most of our work is repetitive, like filling out customs forms and checking shipping manifests, but it pays the bills. Jeyalani Colony is a nice place to work because it’s easy to get to, and there is a decent park nearby where we sometimes walk after work is finished. We don't do much in the way of promotion; we just handle the accounts we have and try not to make too many mistakes with the paperwork. It is a plain, honest way to make a living. There is nothing very complicated about it.
