Bharath Hardwares is sitting right on LF Road in Arumuganeri. We are part of the Tuticorin area, down here in Thoothukudi. The shop is at number 133/4. It’s a busy road, so there’s always something going on outside. Inside, it’s mostly just stacks of pipes, bags of material, and rows of tools. We’ve been operating from this location for quite a while now. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. It’s a very local kind of business. We don’t spend much on decorating the place; we’d rather have more stock on the shelves. Sometimes it takes a minute to find a specific part because there is just so much stuff everywhere. We stay busy with the loading and unloading of goods. The sun gets quite hot here, so we appreciate the shade inside the shop. We aren't a big corporation, just a family-run type of place where we work hard every day. We handle everything ourselves, from the sales to the heavy lifting. There are no fancy uniforms here. We just wear what’s comfortable for moving heavy hardware around. If you need something for a repair or a build, we probably have it tucked away somewhere. We just keep things moving and try to be helpful. Sometimes we sit outside on the stools when the shop is quiet and just watch the traffic go by.
