Baby Electronics has its shop at 7B, Meenakshi Puram Main Road. If you know the area, we’re right by the Raj Hotel and directly across from the Old Bus Stand. Being opposite the bus stand means there's always a crowd and plenty of noise, which we’ve gotten used to over the years. We deal with all kinds of small electronics and gadgets. People often drop in while they’re waiting for their bus to arrive. They might need a charger, a pair of earphones, or maybe they have a watch that stopped ticking. We don't have a polished storefront with fancy displays. It’s more of a traditional local shop where things are stacked on shelves and we know where everything is, even if it looks a bit crowded. The name Baby Electronics usually gets a smile from new customers. We’ve been on Meenakshi Puram Main Road for a long time, so we’ve seen the old buses come and go. It’s a simple life running a shop here. We talk to travelers, regulars from the neighborhood, and the staff from the Raj Hotel next door. We don't use big words or try to sell people things they don't need. If someone has a broken device, we take a look and see if it's worth fixing. It’s just an honest way to spend the day, right in the middle of all the bustle. We close up when the last buses start thinning out.
