A B R Engineers

You can find us at Muniasamy Puram on Lind Street. We occupy two spaces, 70D and 51/714. It’s an engineering shop, so it’s full of heavy equipment and the smell of grease. We’ve been operating out of these units for a while now. A lot of our work involves parts for larger machines or structural pieces. It’s dusty work and we usually have grease under our fingernails. The street is usually quiet, which is nice for getting work done. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone like that; it’s just us doing the technical bits. Sometimes we have to stay late when a client needs a part urgently. The fans in the ceiling try their best, but it still gets warm in the summer months. We keep a lot of blueprints and sketches pinned up on the walls. It helps us keep track of what needs to be done. We’ve had a few different machines over the years, some old and some newer ones. Each has its own quirks. We just take it one job at a time. It’s a straightforward business. We don't talk much while we're working because of the noise. If someone comes by, they usually just walk straight into the workshop. We like the routine of the shop life. It’s just a place where things get built and fixed properly. A B R Engineers is just a place where the work happens.
