Amnir Laboratories

Our lab is down on Baldeo Road. It’s a plain building, nothing special to look at if you are just passing by on the street. Inside Amnir Laboratories, we try to keep things as clean as we possibly can, though the waiting area often gets a bit cluttered with old magazines and chairs. We spend our time running various tests and looking at samples. It’s quiet work for the most part of the day. We have a few machines that hum all day long in the background. The people who work here have been doing this for a long time, so we know the daily routines by heart. We don’t have a big receptionist or a polished lobby to greet people. Usually, one of us just looks up from the work bench when someone walks through the front door. Baldeo Road can be a bit bumpy with potholes, so we always tell people to be careful when they drive over. We aren't a giant chain of labs, just this one single location. We focus on the results and making sure we don't mix anything up in the process. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the corner of the desk, but we eventually get through it all by the end of the shift. It’s honest work and we take it seriously without making a big fuss about things. We see a lot of the same faces from the neighborhood. It feels good to be a part of the local scene.
