If you come to 1St Cross in Shankarpura and look for Megha Nilaya, that’s where I run my business. My name is Mamatha B L, and I’ve been working from this spot for quite a while now. It’s more of a home-based setup, which makes it feel a bit more personal when people stop by. Shankarpura is a nice area, fairly quiet compared to the main roads, and I like it that way. I handle a lot of the work myself, though sometimes I have someone help me out when things get a bit too busy. It’s not a big corporate office with glass walls or anything. It’s just a room with my computer, some ledgers, and a lot of notebooks. I find that being local helps me understand what people around here actually need. I don't go in for big advertisements or trying to sound like I’m some huge company. I’m just one person doing my job every day. People usually find out about me through word of mouth, which I think is the best way. It means I have to do a good job every time, or people will hear about that too. Some days I’m working late into the evening just to finish up some tasks, but I don't mind the work. It’s nice to be my own boss and stay right here in the neighborhood where I grew up.
