Mahalakshmi Chemical & Mineral is based out in Mayasandra, which is in the Turvekere area. We’ve been working with different types of minerals and chemical compounds for quite a while now. This part of the country has a lot of activity related to these materials, and we’ve carved out a small place for ourselves here. Our facility is pretty basic. We spend our time processing or storing the materials before they get sent out to various industrial clients. It’s heavy work, often involving a lot of dust and manual labor, but we are used to it by now. We don't have a fancy website or a sales department. Most people we work with are long-term contacts who know where we are and what we can provide. Being in Mayasandra means we are a bit away from the big city noise, which we prefer. We keep an eye on the quality of the minerals we source and make sure everything is weighed and packed correctly. Sometimes the machinery breaks down and we have to spend the whole day fixing it, which can be frustrating. But that’s part of running a minerals business. We just aim to be reliable and get the orders out on time. It’s a steady job, and we take some pride in knowing our materials end up being used in so many different products. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us making sure the work gets done every single day.
