Out in the Anthrasanahally Industrial Area, you’ll find Globle Stone India Ltd. across Plots 22 through 24. It’s a pretty large space because, as you can imagine, working with stone requires a lot of room for storage and cutting. The yard is usually full of heavy slabs and the sound of the saws running. It’s a dusty place, and there’s no getting around that, so we all wear boots and don't worry too much about getting our clothes dirty. We’ve been operating here for years, and the team is used to the physical nature of the work. We aren't a big, shiny corporation with a fancy lobby. Our office is just a small room off to the side where we keep the records and take calls. Most of the real action happens outside or in the sheds. We spend a lot of time moving heavy loads and checking the quality of the stone as it comes in. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when it rains and the yard gets muddy, but we just work around it. There’s no point in complaining about the conditions when there’s work to be done. We’re just a bunch of regular people who know a thing or two about stone. We don’t use any marketing talk or try to sound more important than we are. We just show up, do the heavy lifting, and try to make sure everything is ready for the trucks.
