Agro Mech Industries

Our workshop, Agro Mech Industries, sits right across from Siragate Hospital. If you are coming down the road in Siragate, you can't really miss Shree Mylaralingeshwara Nilaya, which is where we operate from. It's a busy area of Tumkur, always people moving around the hospital and cars going by. We started this because there was a need for it here and we’ve just stayed put ever since. The building isn't brand new, it’s got some character and maybe a few cracks in the paint, but it keeps the rain off the machines. Most days you’ll hear some noise coming from inside because we’re usually fixing or putting something together. We don't really do much advertising. People just find us by word of mouth or they see the sign when they're visiting the hospital. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the parts and tools lying around, but we know where everything is. Usually. Sometimes a wrench goes missing for a day but it always turns up eventually. We drink a lot of tea while we work and talk about the weather or how the road is getting more crowded. It’s just a normal workplace with regular people trying to do a decent job. We close up when the sun goes down or whenever the last task is finished for the evening.
