Swarnagiri Minerals & Oils Pvt. Ltd.

We are out here in Chandrabhavi, which is part of the Midegasi Hubli area in Madhugiri Taluk. It is a bit of a drive to get here but we have been at this spot for quite some time now. Swarnagiri Minerals & Oils Pvt. Ltd. is basically what it says on the sign out front. We spend our days dealing with different minerals and various types of oils that come through. It gets pretty dusty around the yard when the wind picks up across the plains. Usually, the morning starts early before the sun gets too high because the heat can be a lot to handle by noon. We have a small crew of local guys who know the machines well. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend the afternoon fixing a pump or a belt instead of moving product. That is just how it goes in this line of work. Most of our neighbors are farmers or other small operations like ours. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that, just a desk with a lot of papers and some old chairs. People come by for business and we offer them water or tea if the pot is on. It is a simple way to make a living, even if the work is heavy. We just try to get the orders filled and keep the trucks moving out on the road.
