Sri Bidaramdika Provision

Sri Bidaramdika Provision is our little shop here in Tiptur Taluk. We’ve been serving the local folks for a long time now. It’s a general provision store, so we keep a bit of everything that people need for their kitchens and homes. From grains to soap, we try to stock the basics. The shop isn’t very big, and it gets crowded on market days. My wife and I run the place together. We know most of our customers by their first names. They come in not just to buy things but also to catch up on the local news. We don't have a computer system or anything fancy. Everything is written down in our ledger books. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. Sometimes we run out of things if the supply truck is late, and we have to tell people to come back tomorrow. They usually don't mind. Tiptur is a nice place to live and work. Life moves at a slower pace here. We don't have big dreams of becoming a supermarket. We’re happy just being the local shop where people can get what they need. The shelves are always a bit messy, but we know where everything is. It’s a simple business for simple people. We’ve been at this for years and plan to stay. Sometimes the kids from the school nearby come in for sweets. It's a nice way to spend the day.
