Pick N Munch

If you're in Gubbi and walking down Mahaveera Road, you'll find us at 5-11-47. Pick N Munch is basically a small spot for snacks and quick eats. We have various jars of sweets and savories lined up on the counter. Most of the stuff we sell is locally made. It’s a busy little road, so people often stop by while they are out running errands. The shop is quite narrow, but we make the most of the space we have. We have a small fridge for cold milk and sodas too. Sometimes the power goes out, but we have a small battery backup for the lights. It’s not a restaurant, just a place to grab something and go. We don't have chairs or tables inside. Most people just stand outside and eat or take it with them in a paper bag. We keep the floor swept, though it gets dusty again quickly with all the traffic outside. It’s just me and a helper here. We enjoy the talk and the daily routine of the shop. Nothing complicated about it. We don't have a big sign, just a hand-painted one above the door. It’s been there for years and is starting to fade a bit. We just want to make sure people have something good to eat when they are hungry.
