Olde Bangalore

We are located out at No. 206 in Tharabanahalli, which is near the New International Airport. It’s a bit of a drive from the main Bangalore city center, but people seem to like coming out this way toward Chikjala Post. Olde Bangalore has been here for a while, and we’ve seen the whole area change as the airport got bigger. Despite the planes flying nearby, it’s actually quite green around our place. We have a lot of trees and open spaces. It’s not like those cramped hotels in the city. Here, you have room to breathe. The buildings are designed to look like old-style Bangalore houses, with slanted roofs and porches. We spend a lot of time gardening and making sure the paths are clear of leaves. The 562157 area is still somewhat rural, so you might see a few cows on the road on your way here. We have a pool and some spots to sit outside. The staff mostly lives in the surrounding villages, so we have a local feel. We don't use a lot of fancy technology for check-ins; we prefer talking to people. It’s a place for folks who want to get away from the traffic for a day or two. We just try to keep things quiet and comfortable for everyone who stops by. It’s not a complicated operation, just a place with some grass and some old-fashioned rooms.
