Krs Provision Stores

You can find Krs Provision Stores at 4-18-27, right on Kasturba Road near Devigere Circle. It’s a good location because people are always passing through the circle. We’ve been here long enough that people use us as a landmark sometimes. The store is packed with all sorts of provisions. We try to keep a bit of everything, though space is always a problem. I spend a lot of time rearranging the bags of flour and sugar to make more room. It’s a bit of a puzzle every time a new shipment arrives. The floor is old stone, and it stays cool even when it’s hot outside. We don’t have much in the way of air conditioning, just the breeze from the door. Customers come in for their monthly supplies mostly. We write everything down in the big ledger we keep on the desk. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it never fails us. My nephew helps out on the weekends when the crowd from the circle gets bigger. We don’t do any big promotions or sales. We just sell what people need at the price we can get it for. Sometimes the morning delivery is late because of the traffic around the circle, but people are patient. It’s just a neighborhood shop where you can get what you need without any fuss. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, but we stay the same.
