About Jain Traders – Agriculture & Farming in Tumakuru
We have been at 114/48 on Keb Road for a long while now. Kotithopu is a busy little area, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get somewhere. Our place, Jain Traders, isn’t anything fancy to look at from the outside. It’s just a standard shop with stacks of stuff and a counter that has seen better days. We spend most of our time organizing the stock or helping people who come in looking for specific things. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit messy, but we know where everything is. The ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking sound when it’s on high, but you get used to it after ten minutes. We mostly deal with local folks and small businesses around here. There’s a tea stall just down the road that we visit every afternoon around four. It’s a simple life. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing what we do every day. The shelves are heavy and made of old wood. We try to keep things moving so nothing stays on the shelf for too long. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the narrow part of the road and we have to help them navigate the turn. It’s just part of being here in Kotithopu. We do not have a website or fancy brochures. People just know our address and show up when they need something from us. It is how it has always been.
