Our office is located in the village of Dasudi, which is in the Huliyar Hobli area of Chikkanayakanahalli Talluku. It is deep in the Tumkur district. We are specifically in the Gaviyappana Palya part of the village. It’s a very rural setting, quite different from the big cities like Bangalore. Most of the people who come to us are farmers or local small business owners from the surrounding areas. We run the chit fund from a simple building that everyone in the talluku knows. We don't have any fancy computers or complicated systems. We mostly use paper books and pens to keep track of everything. It’s the way people around here trust. The office is a place where people can come and talk. We often sit and discuss things for a long time before getting to the actual business. Life in Tumkur moves at a bit of a slower pace, and our office reflects that. We handle the collections and the auctions right here. There is no air conditioning, just the breeze coming through the door and the windows. We know every person who is part of the chit fund by name. It’s a very close-knit operation. We’ve been part of this community for a long time and we just continue to do the same work every day, making sure the chits are handled fairly for everyone in the village without any big corporate talk or complicated rules for our people.
