You can find us out on N.H. 4 in Antharasanahalli. We are pretty close to the Canara Bank, which is a good landmark if you are looking for us. Being right on the highway means there are always big trucks rolling in and out. It’s a large space because processing rice takes a lot of room. We have the big silos and the milling equipment that makes a steady humming sound all day. It’s quite different from a small shop in town. Here, it’s all about the volume of grain we can handle. The floors are dusty and the air is filled with that earthy smell of raw paddy. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of our visitors are truck drivers or farmers bringing in their harvest. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the grains and making sure the machines are running right. If a belt breaks, the whole day gets messed up, so we stay on top of maintenance. It’s a straightforward business. We process the rice and get it ready for shipping out to other places. The sun can get really hot out here near the highway, so we appreciate the shade inside the warehouse. It’s hard work and it’s often dirty, but it feels good to see the finished bags stacked up and ready to go. We just keep things moving and try to stay on schedule.
