We spend most of our time among the steel frames and furniture pieces. It is a lot of assembling and checking things over. The workshop isn’t very big, so we have to be organized. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time parking on the Ring Road because it is so packed. We just make it work. It is a simple business. We do not have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just make chairs, tables, and cupboards out of steel. The floor is concrete and often covered in dust. Tumkur gets quite warm, so we have a few fans going, but they do not do much. People come in from Maruthinagar looking for something sturdy for their homes. We show them what we have on the floor. There is no high-pressure talk here. We just show the furniture as it is.
