AKRJ MUTUAL BENEFIT NIDHI LIMITED

Our office is on Yajamanara Bidi in Tumkur, right where T.N. Venugopal is located. It is a local Nidhi setup that has been part of the neighborhood for some time now. We handle small savings and help people out when they need a bit of cash for family things or a small business idea they have. It isn’t a big, flashy bank with lots of glass. It is just a simple office where you can come in and talk to us directly. We deal with memberships and keep the paperwork straightforward. Sometimes the forms take a minute to fill out, but we get it done. The street outside is usually busy during the day, so we see a lot of activity. Most of our members are neighbors or people from around the district who stop by. We keep our records in order and try to make sure everyone understands how the Nidhi works before they join up. It is just a few of us working here, keeping the books and making sure the math adds up at the end of the day. Nothing fancy, just practical money management for the people around here. We like being part of Tumkur and seeing familiar faces every week. People come in to pay their bits or check their balances in our registers. It is quiet work mostly. We do not have big signs. We appreciate that people come to us. Every afternoon we go over the entries to make sure no mistakes happened.
